BABY ELEPHANTS!!!!!!

Image
Have you ever noticed how a human baby sucks on its thumb? Well, baby elephants do the same thing except with their trunks! The reason why they do this is because when the mama elephant isn't available to nurse, the baby will suck on his trunk instead. Humans do it for a different reason though. They do it to give themselves comfort.

WETTER WATER!!!!!!!!

Image
I know that this is going to sound weird, but did you know that firefighters use chemicals that make water wetter? As many people know, the firefighters use water to put out fires. So they use the chemical to make it easier for the water to spread and soak into things. For a more sciency term, https://www.rd.com/list/interesting-facts/ says that "the chemicals reduce the surface tension of plain water so it's easier to spread and soak into objects...".

BUBBLE-GUM BROCCOLI?!?!?!?!?!!?!?

Image
Yes, it is true, there was really such a thing as bubble-gum broccoli. This is where our fun fact comes in! Did you know that McDonald's once featured bubble-gum flavored broccoli? In an attempt to make their menu more healthier, McD's added that gross sounding item for the lil' tikes. You might be wondering why you don't see it now. The reason is because it failed and the kids were just confused, lol.

OSTRICH EYES!!!!!

Image
Did you know that an Ostrich's eyes are bigger than their brains? If you think about it, it kind of makes sense. Because Ostriches are so  large, their eyes are gonna have to be large as well. The reason why Ostriches have such large eyes is so it can see better. For example, if the Ostrich is near danger, then it isn't required to move it's head. Also, another fact is that Ostrich eyes are 5 times as big a human eyes.

Did you know that the Twitter bird has a name? It's Larry!!! I did not realize this wouldn't be a long post since it pretty much explains itself.

POLAR BEARS AREN'T WHITE?????

Image
Did you know that Polar bears aren't really white? They actually have black skin. If you look at this polar bear's face and paws, you can kind of see it. Another shocker is that their fur isn't really white either. It's SEE THROUGH!!! The reason why it looks white is because of the way the light reflects off of it.
