Body Facts!!
Our bodies are amazing!! God knew exactly what He was doing when He was putting it all together. Every part of our bodies are there for a reason. Even the smallest bone in our bodies, which is called the stapes and is located in our ears! The stapes, along with two other bones, send vibrations to the inner part of our ear.
Another cool human body fact is that our lungs are not the same size. The lung on the right is shorter than the left lung because the liver is right under it. The left lung is smaller because the heart takes up a lot of space in there. Here is a picture so you can see what I am talking about:
The lung on our left is shorter because of how high the liver sits; the lung on our right is smaller. If you can tell, it is kind of curved on the inside part, that would be where the heart sits.
The last fact for this blog is that we are taller in the morning than we are at night. Now, don't think that you are, like, 2 feet taller. With most people, you are only about 0.3 inches taller. This happens because gravity pulls our cartilage down and compresses it during the daytime. So when you are sleeping, it goes back to normal, making you seem taller in the morning.
