Music Facts!!
Fact #1: A Space Song. A Canadian astronaut named Chris Hadfield recorded an album while orbiting space. The album is called Space Sessions: Songs for a Tin Can. The album consists of 11 songs that are all original and were written by Hadfield himself. The first song ever sang in space goes to Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. He sang a song a Shostakovich song called 'My Homeland Hears.'
Fact #2: Sandpaper? More Like Sharkpaper. Back in the 18th century, Dogfish, a fish in the shark family, was often used to sand the wood of violins. I don't know if any one of you has felt a Dogfish before, but they are described to have rough skin, much like sandpaper.Fact #3: Don't Loose Your Head! or in this Case Your Skull. An Austrian composer named Franz Joseph Haydn died in 1809 and was resting peacefully until some phrenologists took his skull from his grave! They put a replacement skull in there, but his original skull was missing for 130 years. His skull was restored in 1954, but they did not take the substitute back, so now Haydn's grave has two skulls.
